In 2011, Wasaya Group formed a new partnership that provides Road Transportation to remote communities. The partnership is comprised of established operator, Morgan Transfer, a 100% aboriginal company, and Wasaya Group Inc. The Morgan Group of Companies has been in operation since 1935. Initially, the primary focus of the new joint venture will be the transport of Winter Road fuels. The transportation of fuel over the Winter Roads to existing and potential new customers of Morgan Fuels and Wasaya Petroleum will now be done through the new Wasaya/Morgan entity - Ohteban LP.
This venture will lead to new training and career opportunities for our community members. As we progress with our new joint venture operations, we will look at other ground Transportation opportunities.
